We bought a one story home when we purchased this one for the very reason of not wanting stairs as I have arthritis in my knees. Therefore, no sets of stairs.

Stairs and steps everywhere here. If we get to a point we can't cope with stairs we'll either move or put some kind of lift on one of the stairways.
