Good morning all, had about 9 hours rest last night, having lunch out today.

Nice evening out with a friend, just kicked back and had a couple of beers. Haven't seen him in a while, so good to catch up and good to get out of the house for a change of scenery for a bit. Maybe tomorrow it will be at least a little warmer and I can get some stuff done with my fiberglass, maybe go for a walk in the woods too.

Good afternoon all, having an iced peppermint latte for now. Lunch is whatever I fancy today. Having therapy this afternoon.

Getting ready to get groceries. It's so cold outside I wonder if anyone will be at the store?

Yesterday was really cold here but there were still plenty of people at the store. It's supposed to go over freezing for the first time in a couple of days, so maybe with an extra layer on I can get some fiberglass work done. If I can get that done I can put a heater in the room to warm it up, then use my sealing foam gun to close up a few outstanding gaps around things like the chimney stack.

Good night all, had a cheese sandwich for lunch today, been to therapy, am exhausted. Meditating till dinner and heading off tonight.

Nice leisurely morning sitting with my wife, reading and drinking coffee. Then figured I should probably do something useful, so got some more fiberglass fitted, got the back box that will eventually hold a fan fitted (what I had previously was a botch with a regular back box crudely held in place so I had enough light to work). I've gone through more of the narrow fiberglass than I thought, and it turns out that having bought a full pack of wider fiberglass I only actually needed three pieces of it out of 11. So I'm not sure whether to look to sell the rest, or cut it to lengths and lay it perpendicular to the joists. Suffice to say I have plenty of fiberglass to work with right now....

Going to Lowe's to buy a new showerhead to change out this morning.

My wife is going out for a "girls day" with one of her friends, so I'm going to hang out with the friend's husband (also my friend) and their kids. I suspect that by the end of the day some small people might have been tickled

Well I survived several hours of having two children (aged 5 and 2) climbing all over me. When I got home my wife commented that I was still smiling. It's surprisingly tiring but also surprisingly fun. A few tickles might have been handed out along the way.

The parents are friends of ours from church, every once in a while we'll go out as a foursome and they get a childminder, sometimes we'll do a "girls time" or "boys time", where one goes out and the other gets climbed all over by the kids. They're good kids but, since we're not used to having small children around us, it can be tiring playing with them for an extended period.
