So... What are YOU doing? - Part 6

Going to my monthly scope. I'm hoping the doctor extends it to every 2-3 months since I've met my 1 year anniversary of having surgery for my tongue. I really hate the scopes.

Getting some last minute work done before house guests arrive. My wife was busy cleaning. I was busy making a mess in the attic. Actually, not too much of a mess and it was transient. I've got another 50 gallons of cellulose into bags, and 125 feet of fiberglass laid. Since the temperatures dropped so abruptly I really didn't want to leave our bedroom with no insulation over the ceiling. It's a pain that I'm going to have to lift some of the fiberglass again to do the wiring work that needs doing but at least I've got the cellulose lifted and the fiberglass down, which means the work will be easier than it might have been.

Now it's time to take a shower. Our house guests will probably be with us in a couple of hours.

My job is changing this week and due to that I am going to have to stop going to my men's group on Wednesdays. I've already seen 23 people this week for counseling in 3 days and am a little tired

Is that a normal caseload? It sounds like more than normal to me!

At the VA I think that counselers see around 30- to 40 people a week

Late night last night. Our house guests got held up in traffic and took a wrong turn through roadworks so didn't arrive until later than we expected. Then we had to have dinner and catch up - haven't seen them in months - so didn't get to bed until quite late.

It's cooler than we hoped for our visit but it looks like we'll have sunshine for most of the time, so that's good.

Watching the news now. More horrible things happening...I shouldn't watch it as much as I do. Makes you think the world is a really terrible place.

I like our local news channel that makes sure we have a good piece of news each day on the nightly show

I rarely bother with watching news - so much of it seems to have more of an agenda than simply passing on information.

Winding down after a crazy busy day.
I had a job interview for a PT receptionist position at 12:10 this afternoon.
I stressed out about it from the time I woke up to the time the interviewer returned my multiple phone calls.
There was serious tension at home until I returned from a very positive interview ( I feel very good about it).
I finally did my morning devotions at 2:00 this afternoon.
Went to work at 5:00 this evening.
Busy between shelving stock, customer service and banter with my supervisor.
Came home around 11:00 pm.

Have you tried meditation for stress? There are tons of them on youtube. I am going to look into them as I did my best when I was in meditation.
