So... What are YOU doing? - Part 5

I'm at a coffee house working on a final exam and listening to "Coffee Table Jazz" on Spotify.

So... What are you doing? :)

Poltergeist. You need an exorcism :D

Stay safe! I'm just kidding about the exorcism but still, having a door open that shouldn't be is a cause for concern.

For sure. The landlord will be out in a couple of days. The family upstairs is great, though, so I don't worry about them. Our neighborhood is always on the watch for people that don't belong around here, too.

Cleaned out a nice Keurig I found at a thrift store for $8.00! Vinegar works, but it took about an hour to flush it all out :D
Worth it in the end - and the 'single serve' pod for my own coffee works :coffee:

Is it the mini that works on gravity? Those things last for a long time!

Went with family to see Jurassic World. First time in a movie theatre in forever!
I didnt care for the 3rd JP or the 4th but wow! This one was really really interesting! Very good, original plot and so much change in scenery keeping my mind occupied.
I needed a good distraction after a second loss within a few weeks (my Aunt just passed away) and during this episode I got terminated from work... going through the unemployment system while looking for work, might have to appeal because I got a good case (they fired me on the second of three days of grieving leave) so yeah... a bunch of back and forth with them and the system...
But I give the movie 4 stars!

Just got done with yet more wall repair work. I really don't care for fixing the walls any more, it's getting kinda tedious when I want to get on with putting the insulation panels into place. But when I find more gaps in the wall I guess I need to fix them before the panels cover them up.

Tomorrow there are a couple more patches that I think will need attention but I think I've got one entire room that's ready to have panels fitted. Hopefully I'll make a dent in my stack of panels....

No, this one's a first gen one, but 3 cup sizes and temp control. So, a few bells to it, but it still smells of vinegar. Google searches say to dilute baking soda in hot water and then fill the rest of the reservoir and run it through. Did that and now it's telling me to de-scale. Never using vinegar again :D

Good to see you had a chance to have a bit of a break. Much needed, I'm sure

Yep its another tribulation round for me and the devil is trying but my God overpowers him and Christ is guiding my hand through this mess. These times used to feel like literal hell for me but now the flames dont touch me, im calm and at peace I thank the Lord for choosing me amen to God!

Trying to get motivated to cut up some insulation panels. Didn't have a great night last night so ended up sleeping until after 9.

If only I had some blueberry muffins that might help :)

Taking a break for lunch. I've got cement drying in the wall and building foam squirted behind my wall studs to help contain any airflow that does get through. I'm in the process of trimming the excess foam, then I can cut my panels to size and put them into place. I also need to cut some wooden shims to sit in the space between the edge of the new floor and the wall, so the baseboard can rest on the floor rather than being tucked behind the floor.

Hopefully today is the day I actually get a lot done. I really feel like I've lost my mojo for the last couple of days even though progress is being made.

My husband and I went out for lunch to celebrate our 28th wedding anniversary. We tried an Italian restaurant we haven't been to and it was really good...and reasonably priced so we'll be back. He's currently in a food coma and I'm surfing the web LOL
