Because of covid restrictions my church still doesn't want people singing any louder than a soft speaking voice.

Does your church sing normally yet?

Not in the congregation. We have soloists, placed in a choir loft, and I think with a plexiglas shield directly in front of them. I don't think anything short of N95's would make singing safe.

Yes, but with masks. I mean we wear masks but the praise band doesn’t.

We've been singing normally for some weeks now. Truth be told with our regular congregation I think so many people have had and recovered from COVID we've got some kind of local herd immunity going on. Many of the older and otherwise more vulnerable are vaccinated so there's less and less concern about COVID these days.
