When my husband is the sick one, I make him as comfortable as possible and that means giving him the bed he chooses. The one in the guest room has an adjustable base, so if he needs his head raised, that's the best one for it.

Our sleeping arrangements don't change. Unless he needs to sleep sort of sitting up, then he uses the recliner.
