What kinds of service projects does your church, denomination or synod take part in? My former church and current one both help out the Orphan Grain Train.

We support our local PCP pregnancy care center and Vinny’s diner at the Catholic Community Center with sandwiches and services.

Do coffee and cookies at Food Bank and do a program called bountiful blessings twice a month, also many things through the year. For instance on Fat Tuesday we will be on the street giving out free donuts

County Jail ministry, Angel Tree ministry, volunteer ministry with a local homeless shelter, local food shelf support, Feed my Starving Children and a few more. God has provided us with a diverse amount of spiritually gifted people ranging from 90 year olds down to new borns. It is inspiring to see and to participate.

It's weird ... It's a blessing reading everybody's church blessings here, but when I wanted to start listing, it just felt like bragging or something, I dont really know why, it just didnt feel right. I'm sorry. But they have a ton of different ministries/outreaches going round the clock, and missionaries all over the world. God bless them, and you all, and all the body of Christ.

Reading what others do actually gives us new ideas that we can pass onto members at our own churches.

When I was a teenager the methodist church had a program called UM ARMY states for United Methodist Advanced Reachout Mission for Youth. It was a work camp where you go and help people with building project who are elderly or handicap. I went for three years. It was in Texas and it was summer and hot. That's mainly what i remember. And a lot of cute girls were there. Did i mention I was a teenager.
