But it is exactly the topic.

How would Jesus approach that scared young woman in line at the abortion clinic? Of course he wouldn't want her to go through with the abortion but I imagine he'd offer more than harsh words about killing babies, while shrugging off the very real needs that scare that young woman into believing an abortion is her only option.

The thread is yours. I'll step out.

What would Jesus do? It depends on the attitude of the woman. If she's defiant in insisting killing her child is not a sin, Jesus would bring the Law down on her to bring her to contrition.

If the woman is scared and worried about it being a sin, Jesus would not bring Law to her. He also wouldn't tell her to abort, but would encourage her to care for her child the way He cares for her.

A lot of groups don't trust traditional Republican voters. For instance, many blacks don't trust conservative whites because they think they're racist.

So, even if these groups are Christian, they can't hang with Republicanism.

Do they think Republicans are racist because Democrats told them they were? ;)

Not a lot of them and some Democrats are racist.

I guess it's tough to tear down this dynamic of mistrust in our world.

For instance, when I was teaching in South Korea, I was shocked how much ordinary Koreans hate Japanese people.

Supporting or not supporting, if you want your vote to have any political influence at all you have to vote for one of them.

Third parties are pretty much meaningless and not voting at all just lets someone else tell you how to live without even protesting it.

The best idea is to divide nations by politics because minority political views are a problem for the majority when forced on the them.
