What are your thoughts about married couples that sleep in separate bedrooms?

It would be nice if someone was a chronic snorer.

It makes sense for couples who have a partner who snores, suffers from catathrenia, have different body temperatures (one likes the ceiling fan on because that person is too hot all the time and the other person is always too cold), if one has chronic insomnia or restless leg syndrome. If it helps for each person to get a good night's sleep, then it's not a bad thing.

I think what married couples do in their bedroom/s is none of anyone else's business. If sleeping in one bed, or two beds in one room, or two beds in two rooms, works for them they get to make that decision.

And we should not ASSUME that just because a couple sleep separately, therefore this couple isn't having .... well... you know.
Nor should we ASSUME this means they dislike closeness or each other.
Indeed, it probably doesn't mean we should ASSUME anything.

I'm sure we all agree.

I don’t know. Personally, I’d miss having hubby by my side. When we had Covid we slept separately and I hated it.
