I noticed a lot of drainage this week and was hoping it wasn't allergies already! I'm allergic to most medicines but I bought a pill cutter and I'm going to try an allergy medicine cut in half to see if my body can handle it.

It sounds weird but for me losing weight and gaining fitness made a huge difference.

I had allergic rhinitis (I never did find out exactly what it was that triggered it) to the point that sometimes it would render me non-functional because I'd literally sneeze constantly for anything up to half an hour at a time. It's hard to conduct a meeting when your contribution is nothing more than sneezing with barely time to draw breath between sneezes. When I took up cycling my rhinitis went away.

Diffusers with essentials oils. I have eucalyptus burning during the winter months. I'll probably switch to jasmine during the spring.

You need to move to Australia. In Oz you can sniff all the eucalyptus you want and not pay a cent!

I use saline spray but it doesn't completely rid me of my symptoms. Do you use a neti pot?

I have allergies all year round from nickle to alcohol and ecezma and hayfever drives me nuts at times but I take antihistamines twice a day which stop some of it, other than that its creams for skin plus nose sprays and eye drops and plenty of tissues..lol

I have nickel allergies too! I used to break out on my belly from jeans that had the metal behind the button!! I can't wear most jewelry so it's rare for me to do so.

My diffuser broke and I have not replaced it. I use to use oils in it. I have to get another one.

I am not allegic to metals. Only seasonal pollens.

Gosh, seeing this all written down like this, it sounds worse than I realized. Im so sorry y'all suffer like this. I get the general season allergies, but nothing this bad.
I pray the Lord intervenes and gives you all effective remedies to combat these ailments. And Lord, I pray you send those enemies packing, get them off our brothers and sisters, grant them relief to be able to breathe and serve you better in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

This time of year begins the worst for my seasonal allergies (cottonwood trees). We have new neighbors and their backyard has the only 2 cottonwoods around. They mentioned that they were thinking of cutting some trees down in their back yard so I begged for them to choose those 2 cottonwoods. They're really tall so I don't know if they'll do it. I'm praying!

I'm literally allergic to everything outside. I've been on allergy shots three times and they don't really do that much good. I've also had sinus surgery back in 1993 which helped for about six months and then everything went back to the way it was. When my doctor asked me about allergies, I told him to look outside and if he saw anything brown, green, yellow or blue that's what I am allergic to. I am not even kidding.

Do you have central air conditioning? Have you ever had the ductwork cleaned out? I've never done it but thought about doing it at the old house.
