I think every graduating student should learn how to write a check (some schools do this), how to balance a check book, information on applying for loans and paying them off, go over easy tax forms, set up a budget, infant care, first aid and cpr.

Home economics and personal finance, but enough people get rich on the back of others not understanding the very basics I doubt it will ever happen.

It would also be really nice if schools taught kids how to reason and apply critical thinking but it seems they are too busy pushing the latest woke garbage to encourage anyone to even scratch the surface of it.

In Canada we write cheques. A check is what you do when you are testing something. Aside from that all students should have a course in comparative religion that is taught in an objective way. Teachers should also encourage the great virtue of skepticism.
