I don't think it's legal for an employer to ask about one's religion or political views....

Some people will look at this story and conclude that these educators aren't very well educated...or at least that they're not much aware of the world outside the boundaries of their own opinions.

The fact is that to believe that the norm with Catholics is political conservatism and that they stand out from Christians in general on that account surely seems to indicate that these educators know very little about Catholics...or Catholicism...or Conservatives...or all of the above.
