What school lunch food was your favorite? If you didn't have a favorite, which food comes to mind when you think of "school lunch"?

Bread with cheese. That's what I got every day. We have no school lunch. The teens who didn't like it bought cookies and chips and threw their bread away outside. The ducks there looked like geese from all the bread they ate.

Up to about age 11 school lunches were slop. Most days I'd rather eat nothing than the garbage put in front of us.

From 11 we had a cafeteria system so lunches were mostly sausages, fish fingers, burgers, fries etc. Not particularly healthy but at least they were edible.

The "square pizza" that was actually a rectangle. We used to dip it in French Dressing and eat it with salad.
You can actually buy it at this cafeteria
