We used to have turkey but the past few years we have been having prime rib. We will see what they cook this year, you never know. I love ravioli!!

When my husband and I first dated as teens, he would bring ravioli over and I didn't really like it. I guess I grew into it Plus now I know how to make it so I can adjust it to my own tastes.

Do you boil them then fry them in butter (the pierogis)? That's how I make them at home.

I just let them thaw in very hot water for about 10 minutes. I don't fry them. Sometimes I will boil them for a few minutes, alternatively. I don't fry much in butter. I always use veg. spray.

Merry Christmas Eve everyone. I slept most of the day. Not going anywhere today. It's beginning to snow here. Lots of snow expected in Ohio but not sure how much will accumulate here.

I'm getting older than dirt, too. How was your Christmas Bill and everyone?

Went to my brother's. He's got a nice apt. Says he never hears any neighbors, must be nice! I know his rent is a lot higher than mine, too. His place was recently built out of an older building but has good insulation which mine does not. My place is very old and then insulation must have disintigrated by now. You can hear almost everything here. I didn't realize it until recently. The manager told me it was not one of those places where you hear everything before I moved in.

Christmas dinner was very good. We had prime rib.
