I can nod off in a minute in my recliner in front of the TV, but if I get up and go to bed BOOM! I am wide awake. :rotfl:

I know the feeling. In my La-z-Boy I can struggle to stay awake, be drifting in and out of sleep, and yet if I lie down in bed my mind starts racing. Sometimes I think the thing to do is find something to play on the TV and sleep in my La-Z-Boy, but then I invariably end up waking with a bad crick in my neck. Maybe I'll go sleep on the sofa...

Sometimes I get sleepless. I found the cure though. I play the Bible on CD or play an audio book. Works every time.

Sometimes I get sleepless. I found the cure though. I play the Bible on CD or play an audio book. Works every time.

Sometimes I find praying helps me drift off to sleep. Sometimes I end up in a place where I keep being awake and aware I'd been praying but lost the thread, so I start over. Eventually I fall asleep, although sometimes it takes a couple of hours of the relentless cycles.
