Miracles also helped people to believe!
If God just regenerates people to believe, then why give miracles?
Besides that question---THERE STILL IS NO SCRIPTURE ANYWHERE THAT SAYS WHAT YOU CLAIM about God regenerating people first so that they can believe.
JESUS SAID Nathanael BELIEVED because Jesus told him he saw him under the fig tree. JESUS said that was WHY NATHANAEL BELIEVED. See John 1:50.
This, the first of his miraculous signs, Jesus performed at Cana in Galilee. He thus revealed his glory, and his disciples put their faith in him. See John 2:11
After he was raised from the dead, his disciples recalled what he had said. Then they believed the Scripture and the words that Jesus had spoken. See John 2:22.
Now while he was in Jerusalem at the Passover Feast, many people saw the miraculous signs he was doing and believed in his name. John 2:23.
Then the father realized that this was the exact time at which Jesus had said to him, “Your son will live.” So he and all his household believed. John 4:53
Still, many in the crowd put their faith in him. They said, “When the Christ comes, will he do more miraculous signs than this man?” John 7:31.
Do not believe me unless I do what my Father does. John 10:37.
But if I do it, even though you do not believe me, believe the miracles, that you may know and understand that the Father is in me, and I in the Father.” John 10:38.
and for your sake I am glad I was not there, so that you may believe. But let us go to him.” John 11:15.
I knew that you always hear me, but I said this for the benefit of the people standing here, that they may believe that you sent me.” John 11:42.
Now we can see that you know all things and that you do not even need to have anyone ask you questions. This makes us believe that you came from God.” John 16:30.
So the other disciples told him, “We have seen the Lord!”
But he said to them, “Unless I see the nail marks in his hands and put my finger where the nails were, and put my hand into his side, I will not believe it.” John 20:25.
Then he said to Thomas, “Put your finger here; see my hands. Reach out your hand and put it into my side. Stop doubting and believe.” John 20:27.
Many of the Samaritans from that town believed in him because of the woman’s testimony, “He told me everything I ever did.” John 4:39.
And because of his words many more became believers. John 4:41.
They said to the woman, “We no longer believe just because of what you said; now we have heard for ourselves, and we know that this man really is the Savior of the world.” John 4:42.
“Unless you people see miraculous signs and wonders,” Jesus told him, “you will never believe.” John 4:48.
But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name. John 20:31.
God TESTIFIED to what Jesus and the Apostles said. God testified to what they said by the signs and miracles.
Many came to believe in Jesus because of the miracles.
Hebrews 2:4 God also testified to it by signs, wonders and various miracles, and by gifts of the Holy Spirit distributed according to his will.
Acts 14:3
So Paul and Barnabas spent considerable time there, speaking boldly for the Lord, who confirmed the message of his grace by enabling them to perform signs and wonders.
