RIP Donut

I had a rough day yesterday. One of my daughter's guinea pigs (named Donut) died yesterday. She was 6 years old and the mama of the other pig (Sugar). She died in my arms uppydogeyes:

Thank you, all. I'm still taking it hard. I had to dig the grave and bury her today. Her daughter is looking for her and that's sad too. I have Christmas music on so that there is noise in the house, especially when I go outside.

It is sad to lose a loved pet. I sometimes think of my Mother's last toy poodle (Sophia was her name) - she would be dead by now (she'd be 25 I think if she were alive) - and I miss her. I get too fond of pets, having them is a great joy and losing them is so very sad. May God comfort you in the loss of Donut (should be doughnut ).

Thanks, MC. I didn't realize how close I had gotten to her since they moved in 4 months ago. They have been fun to take care of and play with. And make costumes for them to wear and hate me for it LOL
