How do you calculate how much money you will need in your later years to live comfortably?

We just can retire with 67 and if you work for a boss you are forced to pay for it, so we always get less income and then you get retirement, which is only an extra, cause everyone over 67 also gets 1400 a month from the govt. We could chose to pay more, so you are rich when you're old, but of course I did not do that. I don't mind living small when I'm old. I rather use the money for the kids now.
