Do you remove people off social media when they’re no longer part of your life? (No longer friends or dating) if so why or why not?

I have few standards when it comes to people being able to see what I post on social media, largely because I post precisely nothing that is even remotely personal. If people post too much drivel I stop following them. Usually that's because of an overload of political memes.

If they post too much annoying stuff I stay friends, but put em on ignore. If they're really irritating I block them.

Nope, the only time people get removed is if they become too vulgar and try to PM me to hit on me.

There were some young guys on Facebook from some christian group complaining that they were bombarded by scarsely cloathed women bothering them on Facebook, so then I said to them: if you change it to female you only get men in suits or change yourself into a monkey. I did that once and even that did not work. A scammer from Africa just wanted to talk to the monkey, so I had to block him.
I had this as my profile pic and had my name Jaap Aap (Ape) on Facebook and then I went to a Bible study from a guy I met on Facebook and his wife picked me up at the train station and she said: Arie asked me: Can you pick up Jaap Aap from the train station? So I said: Jaap Aap???
🤣

I've had a few profiles send me friend requests. Some of them are probably just mistaken identity (I have a pretty common name). Some are apparently young ladies not wearing very much. They get blocked.

Yeah, if I don't interact with someone in a year on social media and I am not relate to them then they are "in line" to be culled when the list gets close to 100.
