Religion in politics

Do you believe that religious beliefs should play a role in politics? (Why or why not?)

As far as who to vote for it's hard to see why religion wouldn't play a role in politics.

As far as what elected politicians do, that's a trickier one. Their religion will naturally guide them but they are elected to represent the people, not to impose their religious beliefs upon the electorate.

Religion definitely guides me on how I vote.

Our countries are built on Judeo-Christian beliefs. We can see what happens when many turn from God. Our countries will never be the same. Oh well, we are just passing through.
