Many have tried to get into the rapture to avoid the tribulation. I am here stating different.
1 Cor 15:50 ... the elect shall be gathered “at the last trumpet!”
The same “great trumpet” that Yeshua is describing
Mat 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory. 31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.
He states that it immediately follows the tribulation. With that you have the order of events.... Tribulation then Rapture.

I don't believe in that "rapture" of the Left Behind type of books since it's not biblical. I do believe we will all be caught up in the air when Christ returns, but that it is also Judgment Day. When He returns, He will come again with glory and judge both the living and the dead. That's what scripture says.

Judgment day and the "rapture" are two different events. I, too, agree with you in the definition of what is the "rapture"... This "catching away" is another phrase that has people "caught up" in a pre-judgment escape clause which is not going to happen. Not because it is impossible but because God is not interested in gathering a people untried. He always takes His people through the tribulation... helps with the shifting of wheat... gets rid of the chaff. Just as Yeshua prayed for..
John 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.

I believe that we will be tested and go through a lot of things but I also believe that we will be caught up to the Marriage Supper of the Lamb during tribulation. We are seeing the birth pangs leading up to tribulation and they will become more severe and will touch virtually everyone

Here is how I take things about how the rapture is false. If we check out the old testatment to see how God did things such as Noah and the flood we know that the evil was swept away and the saved were Left Behind. Christ died once and for all and he doesn't need a rapture to torture our loved ones, what kind of god is that?

Luke 12:44-46 (NIV) "I tell you the truth, he will put him in charge of all his possessions. 45 But suppose the servant says to himself, ‘My master is taking a long time in coming,’ and he then begins to beat the menservants and maidservants and to eat and drink and get drunk. 46 The master of that servant will come on a day when he does not expect him and at an hour he is not aware of. He will cut him to pieces and assign him a place with the unbelievers." See, there is NO second chance!

Hebrews 9:28 (NIV) so Christ was sacrificed once to take away the sins of many people; and he will appear a second time, not to bear sin, but to bring salvation to those who are waiting for him.

John 5:28-29 (NIV) “Do not be amazed at this, for a time is coming when all who are in their graves will hear his voice 29 and come out–those who have done good will rise to live, and those who have done evil will rise to be condemned.
