I find it kind of ironic how self proclaimed "satanist" are atheist and wear their pagan amulets and erect satanic statues while mocking and taunting Christians for believing in God.. perhaps that's a different topic but whenever I see someone wearing an upside cross I like to point out that they are wearing the Catholic emblem for Cross of Saint Peter lol

Indeed many scientist believe in transhumanism and that even though God doesn't exists we will be like gods..

What you are trying to do is apply a rational to a being who by nature is completely irrational. That's your problem. Once you take into account this facet of his makeup that being his irrational nature does the description of Satan make sense.

I once heard in a God's message about this. Parents love their kids the most. The easiest way to hurt parents is to hurt their kids.

Now coming to Bible, as the famous verse John 3:16 says, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life".

So Satan's intent could be to hurt God by making the sacrifice of Christ on Cross futile and destroying the whole purpose of God to give us eternal life. Satan knows he lost the battle and now he wants to take as many children of God possible with him as his days are numbered.
