I was just addressing a Catholic friend's questions on purgatory so sent her the ELDONA video in the opening post, and some other verses and thoughts, along with this note:
Let's look at the thief on the cross. Did he deserve purgatory? Surely he had no chance to do anything much more than believe, and his one good work would be confessing his Lord Jesus. Yet, Jesus told him that very day he would be with Jesus in paradise. Luke 23:43 "And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise."
