Please pray for those who are suffering during the US government shut down. It's been going on for too long, and even though they'll get back pay, they need to pay their bills now.

It was discovered that I have a displaced sternal fracture last week from an accident I was in. I am very much hoping that this will heal on its own given time and I won't need surgery. But, I am talking to a surgeon on Tuesday. I feel like I am still getting better some this week, but still having some minor pain and discomfort.

I talked to surgeon today and he said that I don't need surgery and it could possibly heal on its own in the next two months or so.

I have been going to a new church for the last four or five weeks and today they said when the service started that the pastor is having some heart problems and is in the hospital. I'm not sure of all the details. He has a wife and teenage son
