Does your church have a prayer box outside of the church building for the community to drop in their prayer requests?

The first time I saw it was outside a small country church about 45 minutes from where I live. It's always stuck in my mind because I would love to have something like that! I'd love for it to be connected to the inside of the church, so it's easy access for someone like the pastor or secretary.

It's an interesting idea. I can't imagine it working in a city area, I dread to think what things might be put into the box if it fed straight through into the office.

We have something like that today it's called email. People can just email their requests in on the church web site.

Yep, big difference between country people and city people.

They first need to have the email in order to use it. The box is intended for the community, and not all of the community will attend that church. But they can see the box outside the church and know that if they seek prayers, they can slip a note inside.
