What, specifically then, are these products of alchemy that bring this ascendant life, Mercury?
Big question and really you'll need to start looking into Alchemy to satisfy yourself on the answers. Many products can be made via alchemy ranging from simple substances that facilitate healing and wellbeing to elixirs that bestow longevity and/or human evolution/ascendance.
I'm not an expert so I can't answer this fully I'm afraid. There are literally many 100s of alchemical texts, works, treatises and scripts spanning hundreds of years. They are however written very cryptically and allegorically to conceal the secrets from ordinary people. If you want to go take a look then start here:

Many people mistakenly think that Alchemy is just an ancient practice but there are plenty of people performing alchemy work in today's modern world. The great secrets have been released to mankind to many people and it is spreading fast around the world. This may very well be behind some of the strange conflicts and world stuggles that we've seen as the warring powers who run the world fight to maintain their power bases and do anything they can to prevent the public having their power and knowledge.
