I believe we are born with free will and that is how we sin. But many people know right from wrong on many levels and so they try to be moral.

So you don't believe that God already does all those things? Does He wait for you to pray?

Do you pray for people to be saved? If so, what are you asking God to do that He's not already doing?

I think that generally speaking, it is best to simply ask for direction from God, and to exclaim your Faith, praise, trust, love, and the miraculous nature of the Lord.
Always in God's name, selflessly.

Thanks.

Is God doing those things anyway?

God may work through you if he so chooses. Whether you can know, or understand that depends generally on Faith. However, God doesn't need your Faith, you do.

For those who believe we have a free will, do you pray for the lost? If so, what is your prayer?

Sent from my iPhone using my right thumb.
Prayer could be for any selfless good thing through the grace, mercy, and power of God. Thanks.

I believe that we should pray for the lost. Specifically, that God will regenerate them. It's the only way they will be saved. If left to their "free will", they will be eternally lost.

Free will is our gift from God to each of us. With it comes great responsibility. Through Faith in God through Christ we have guidance, and all things are possible. Thank you.

I wonder why people worry about free will or the lack of it when it is so clearly obvious that we can and do choose our course of action in whatever circumstances we're in. It seems odd to make God the cause for your own choices as if you were some helpless automaton awaiting divine instructions or running according to a divinely written software program that will run according to God's instructions as written in it with you having no more personality or choice than a vacuum cleaner or your computer.
You don't loose your free will or conscious. You simply tend to adhere to the good side of it through the Lord.

So what happens in regeneration?

Sent from my iPhone using my right thumb.
Regeneration, as you call it, call be likened to being saved, being resurrected, finding true Faith, being awakened, being circumcised through the blood of Christ.

perhaps because they so desire to not lay it down preferring their "own way" to be right ...
You both speak selfishly. You must be selfless. Did Christ not teach this?

I'll try again. If you are praying for someone who's lost, what are you asking God to do that He hasn't already done?

To open there eyes, so that they might find the way, if it is God's will. Thank you.

Born again does not mean through baptism. Ephesians 5.26 speaks of 'the washing of water through the word'.
Being born again does indeed have to do with baptism, however this baptism is personal and likened to circumcision of evil from ones self. The removal of the deceitful and its sin from your body.

Baptism is not about obedience it is about God's promises. I explained that in a previous post. Your reply appears to have ignored it.
Baptism is about sacrifice of one's will to the will of God through Christ.

Your reply appears to say that you cannot find any verse in any place in the bible that teaches that baptism is an act of obedience by faith. And rightly so because no such teaching is in the bible.
Baptism is the act of surrender to Faith through Christ from God. It's all through the bible. Thanks.

Such a teaching is not in the bible. It is a tradition in some denominations. Nothing more.

Baptism and circumcision are not literal things for the Gentiles. They are through personal sacrifice, pain, and surrender. And yes it is in the Bible. Thank you.

Where is it in the bible; exactly what passage (chapter and verses) says the things you've said about baptism?

Only those that do not crawl to him, that he may lay mercy upon them.

We must be humble in all that we do for God. Through the good of our consciousness, the Creator, we can be lead like sheep. This is only through selflessness, and pure intentions at heart.
