USA Police hunt for gunman after UnitedHealthcare CEO killed in New York City

UnitedHealthcare CEO Brian Thompson was shot and killed in Manhattan on Wednesday morning in a “brazen, targeted attack” as he walked toward the company’s annual investor conference, New York police said. The gunman remains on the loose.

You know what is odd... New Yorkers are afraid because there is a killer on the loose in the streets of NY. As if their city isn't riddled with crime? Maybe they need to open their eyes to what's going on where they live?

Interesting that this one isn't likely to do anyone any harm that he hasn't already harmed, while the constant barrage of crazies, armed robbers, carjackers, and killer gangs seems to have been accepted by them to the point that they even prosecute those defending against them.

Of course, I'm not in NYC and have never been there so I might have a distorted view of things.

I'm like you in that I think NYC is filled with all kinds of crime. I have a friend who lives in Manhattan and loves it, so maybe she turns a blind eye to things, or maybe it's just not in the news of what's happening?

Even more so silencer laws, just a few special police uses are allowed.
