1. How do you remove labels from prescription bottles/plastic containers?

2. Where do you dispose empty prescription bottles/plastic containers?

1. I use my thumbnail to slowly lift enough label off of the bottle for me to grab with my thumb and index finger. I then slowly pull the label until it is removed. This doesn't work so well with old bottles.
2. I tried returning empty bottles to the pharmacy, but they wouldn't take them. So, the ones I don't use, I throw in the garbage.

I don't remove my labels because I don't care if someone sees that I take thyroid hormone medication and the bottle end up in the trash. I thought about doing crafts with them, but I haven't seen anything good yet.

I just throw them away but have been thinking about using a black marker and hiding my info.

Just take some water and will cause the label to peel off.
