My wife makes some good pickles. My friend's dad makes some good pickles and every once in a while we get a jar or two.

We don't buy pickles. There's no point when you can make them yourself and know exactly what goes into them.

There is any difference between those things? We ate that with cheese on a birthday party when I was a kid. A piece of cheese with a pickle or a sour onion on a stick.
