Back when I was a Pentecostal I saw several deliverances from demons over the years. And I think many of the health problems Christians have come from them. Not only physical but mental problems too. In one deliverance, a few began praying in Jesus' name over a man sitting in a stuffed hair. He had never been in a church as far as I know but spent lots of time drinking at the bar. So he wasn't acting.
But his complexion changed as he slumped deeper into the chair. They commanded the Demons to name themselves, something Jesus would do in his deliverances. He began naming them in a weak trembling voice, later sliding down the front of the chair onto the floor. He named murder, hatred, lust, and some other names I don't remember. But they all spelled out a wicked state of mind. Eventually, the Demons came out and his complexion and voice changed back to normal.
Demons hate the name of Jesus, it's the only power a believer has over them. I often wonder if that is why the Pope got rid of it in the baptismal formula.
There are some more experiences that led to a long study, even today.
