Pass the Offering Plate?

Does your church still pass an offering plate? Or do they have a spot before entering the sanctuary where the plate is located? What's the percentage of those who give through an online app?

From what I have seen many churches offer a variety of ways to give such as online or at a spot near entrance of sanctuary. I prefer online giving myself. I think it is more private that way. I have no idea what the percentages are. I know we are expecting some snow here this next weekend and probably a lot of churches will close due to unsafe driving conditions and all the giving will be online that weekend most likely

Does your church still pass an offering plate?

I can't speak for other Adventist churches but ours in Morganton, NC still does during each week's service where you put both tithes and offerings into as the ushers walk down the aisles.

We pass an offering plate. I think there are ways to give online, although personally I don't use them because the ones I've seen before involve fees and if I'm going to give I'd rather give to the church than lose some in fees.

I guess a lot of people give online or drop a check with the office because I usually sit near the back of the church and sometimes the plate that comes along my pew has less than $50 in it.
