I was just watching this the other day lol
I wanted to post it but I decided not to for some reason.
I did find it very spot on, the sermon on the mound should be taken literally not hypothetically

Oh dear!

Now you're sounding almost Catholic!

You'll get in trouble!

Blessed art thou bar-Tigger, for flesh and blood hath not revealed this to thee!

This is an interesting take on the gospel.

Once the Worshipping Body of Christ is not THE Interpreter of the meaning of Holy Writ...
But it becomes instead a matter of PhD officianados...
Then the Holy Book is just another volume on the shelf...
Opinions are like belly-buttons - Everyone has one...

almost ;) but no cigar, Catholicism just has too many rules and procedures involved, I figure if you are going to be Catholic you have to go all in, you can't be a part time Catholic

One of the first things I read in the NT was the sermon on the mount and I remember agreeing 100% with everything Jesus spoke

Are you sure about agreeing 100% with everything written in the sermon on the mount?

Why wouldn't I?

A careful read can be very helpful. The sermon in the gospel according to Matthew is about three chapters long.

IIn the Word there is no darkness only light

No scripture inspired of God teaches that. But the holy scriptures do teach that in God is no darkness. The lesson to learn is that the bible is not God.
