How do we, as Christians deal with online bullying?

Doesn't it depend on where it happens to some extent? If you mean in social media platforms like YouTube and X, the best thing is not to use them at all. Or if you do use them don't engage with strangers or look at any posts that denigrate Christians.

I'm just asking in general. Do you really stop going to social media all together then? I have some medical support groups I'm a part of that are really important to me, so leaving is not an option for me if I were to be bullied.

I watch videos on YouTube but I've decided not to post or read comments on there. X is trickier because although I would like to only see Christian content it mixes politics and other things up in my feed. I try not to use that very much. As for Facebook, I hardly use that any more but I just scroll past things I can instantly see I'm not interested in. I mainly just use it to talk to a few friends. And it seems they have censored me in some ways anyway because I've tried to make friends on there and my requests are not seen.

Mot of these things are there to get you hooked in and you start getting into fights with strangers about theology or with atheists etc. So I've had enough of that. Christianity Haven seems pretty safe in comparison.

If you have medical reasons for hooking up online with others I don't think you can avoid any potential conflict unless you personally start to engage with people by bringing up Christian things. Unsaved people are offended by Christianity because they don't understand what sin is and they think they are good people already.

Usually things like zoom meetings have moderators so you should be able to contact them privately to request that if any bullying takes place it will be dealt with properly.

But really, this is part of life of being a Christian. It's unavoidable unfortunately, not just online but everywhere.

If it's an online community either report them to administrators or block them?
