Notifications when receiving donations

It seems as if not everyone is receiving a notification when another member donates CH Cash. If you have never received a donation of CH Cash before please respond here in this thread and we'll test it out. I can see log files to know who has sent and received but I cannot see who is not getting the notification PM once you receive it!

If you have received CH Cash before and got a notification there is no need to respond.

I just noticed that my CH Cash amount jumped up by at least 2000 units, however, I didn't get a notification that anyone had donated to me.

I see it in the log file from 1PM today. I'll PM you the name of the sender.

Mark & I have determined that there are 2 ways to donate CH Cash to members but only ONE way will send out a PM Notification so that the recipient becomes aware of the donation.

The method that gives notification is done through the CH Shop then choose Donate on the left hand side.

The other method that I've used that does NOT give any notification is done through the member's post bit where you see how much CH Cash they currently have. That is actually a link where you can transfer your CH Cash to another member.

Since there are two methods to give CH Cash, it makes sense that there are also two different log files that I can view transactions.

I'm so glad this is cleared up. If you want a member to be aware of your donation, please handle it through the CH Shop tab at the top!
