Nickname?

Do you have a nickname you go by? Or one you were called as you were growing up? Is it your username?

I had a few nicknames and most give by my mother...katydid, Sister Kate, Katrina. Btw, my name is Kathleen and even Kathy is a nickname I use even though a lot of times I'll still try to get people to call me Kathleen.

Online I'm often Lambie or Lammikens besides LilLamb.

I like my name and use it....

Guys (for reasons I don't know) like to reduce other guy's names to one syllable. They just do this TO others and often the receiver just accepts it. Thus Joseph is Joe, William is Bill, Timothy is Tim, etc.. They tried to make Josiah into Joe, but I kept telling them Joe is short for Joseph and that's not my name. EVENTUALLY they gave up. But it ain't easy! Girls don't seem to do this (at least not so much) although I knew a girl EVERYONE called "Kris" or "Krissy" and she hated it, insisting her name was Christine but it never worked.

My Christian mom in California gave me the nickname Krissy Cakes and I loved it so I go by that or Krissy.

Most people would just use my last name.

a few people used "Butterball" i thought that was kinda funny!
