In New Zealand I think it is the High Court. That was recent, the principle is not so new. New Zealand has had same sex marriage for quite a while now. So designating sex in official documents as "male", "Female" and "gender diverse" is not exactly ground breaking.

I am not ever going to seek a same sex marriage or a "gender diverse" choice on a government form; for me these things are not options because they would be wickedness, but I will never treat another human being badly because of my faith in God.
