USA Mysterious drones in multiple US states

What do you think the drones are that are being seen in multiple US states like New Jersey?

I tend to think they're military like from Aberdeen Proving Grounds in Maryland. I searched that place and the word drones and came up with a lot of articles sharing information on their training exercises.

I also think now that people who own drones are probably playing their own military games, possibly even having contests or challenges.

What are your thoughts on who is behind the drones?

Don't know who is behind them, although it does remind me of some inventive ways drones have been removed from service.

I read one article about a family who got tired of their neighbor bothering them with a drone while they were enjoying their (private, fenced) pool. In the end they managed to take out the drone because they had a big gathering with lots of kids, and the kids had a huge pool noodle fight. Wouldn't you know it, the drone got too close and got taken out by an errant pool noodle. Of course the fact a child could hit it with a pool noodle was all the evidence the family needed that it was being used to harass them.

I've seen other articles about drones being taken out by birds of prey. Not much anyone can do if a passing eagle decides the drone is a threat and takes it out.

I think they're ours, probably being used for some kind of tactical ability testing.

It would seem far too easy to identify a foreign one and locate where the operator(s) are for it to be someone else's and way too expensive for an amateur organization to be conducting.

But that's just what I'm guessing from what I know now.

I honestly don't know what they are, but I know it's being hidden from the public and that's wrong.

I imagine it's one of those "Truth? You can't handle the truth!" sort of things to those that decide such things for us.

I did some research on "plasmoids" and found that in New Jersey there is the Princeton Plasma Physics Foundation that is currently studying plasmoids. It could possibly account for some of the "orbs" that people are sighting along with the drones.
