I have been diagnosed with it about 2 years ago and have started my treatment for it. Doing CPT, DBT and group therapies online for it. I also have social awkwardness and anxiety too. Used to have social phobia, psychosis and paranoia too, but I've been managing them better lately with all my current therapies in life. Thence why I'm on disability for life because looking after my mental and physical well-being is a full time job in itself. Lastly, I don't like going outside the house or interacting with others offline more than necessary, which is my safe spot.

Do you live in area with a lot of people? I live out in the country and with the exception of waving to the neighbors on their huge lots of land I really don't come across too many people on my daily walks.

Since the new diagnostic manual came out a few years ago we don't use the Asperger's diagnosis anymore. They just say that someone is on the autism spectrum. Asperger's would be considered on the high end of the spectrum.

I'm praying for you. I can understand a bit as my husband has it.
