What sort of gifts will you be giving your mother now that we're all on lock down? If you're a mother, what gift would you want to receive?

I got my mom a little necklace charm that says "You are my sunshine". She used to sing that to me as a kid, and still does sometimes, just to be sweet.

As a mom myself, I don't want anything but a hug and an "I love you" :)

When my mom passed away in February my dad was eager to get her things out of the house since we were there to assist in the clean up. He gave me some hand lotion that I just fell in love with so I told my daughter if she could find that in the store that I'd like that as a Mother's Day gift.

When my mom passed away in February

Sorry...

Cool!

I now have two moms (well, one is a mother-in-law). They have become the very best of friends, and get together a lot. Indeed, my parents and my beloved's parents.... they often get together without us. They've even taken a couple of vacations together. We wonder what they talk about. Maybe us.

That sounds really sweet, Josiah! If only mothers and in-laws got along so well, eh?

No mothers left in my family :(

I have a stepmother who is as nutty as a fruitcake. Chances are I'll just call her rather than buying her a gift.
