When I was about 30 I had two wisdom teeth extracted and one of them went "dry socket". When the freezing came out the pain was unbearable. Called the dentist and he sent a prescription to the drug store across the street. Called him again at about 9 PM. Back to the drug store. I was in his office at 3 AM, the relief was unbelievable.

Childbirth was the most painful. I have never experienced a pain that came close and when I broke my wrist I went to the ER and the doctor asked me what my pain level was. I thought about it and said maybe a 7? He said, "You realize you fractured your wrist?" I responded, "Yes, but when I gave birth to my daughter that was a 10 and this isn't even close." He couldn't argue with that :D

My wife had two very easy deliveries. Her first labour was 3 hours and in the end the doctor stood back and said "You've done it so far why don't you finish?" She did and handed Jennifer to me to cut the umbilical and give her the first bath. We went home about two hours later. The second girl was similar but labour was just an hour and a half long.

I had a pinched nerve in my neck with radiating pain down to my thumb in one arm. It stayed that way for about 3 months. I had to get a shot in my neck and some rehab for most of it to go away
