So I thought we needed one of these. When posting milestones, please make sure they are done in uniform of hundreds and thousands. An example of posting a milestone would be 5,000 posts. An incorrect posting of a milestone would be posting that you have reached 5,234 posts.

CH is still new and small so I just don't have that much to say in response to things. When I was at other sites, it was not unusual for me to have a dozen or more posts per day, so the "count" added up fast. I think I posted over 10,000 at 3 sites, over 20,000 at one. In time, it will happen here, too - to the dismay of many, lol..... IF staff so permits....

Better to speak when you have something to say than just for the sake of it. I remember on another forum one member had so many posts I juggled some numbers and found he had written the equivalent of something like one post every 2 minutes without stopping for ten years. I wondered what he could possibly have had to say that took so many posts, and then found the threads where he counted. Endlessly. I often wondered why people bothered with those threads.
