Mary Liveth and Believeth in Jesus and she never died. And the Lord was with Mary.. Luke 1:28

When you get to heaven and see Mary holding Salvation then what?

baby-jesus.jpg

We won't see that.
Your first sentence is false.
Your second sentence can be said of all whom God has redeemed.
Everyone to whom God gives the gift of faith is just as favored as Mary.
When we get to heaven, Mary will be worshipping God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit just like you and me.

Your worship of a broken sinner, named Mary, is called idolatry.

Watch at 2:20 (shall never die promise)

Believers have to be raised from the dead like Lazarus. The liveth part must be Catholic.

Do you scripture?
There is no reason to watch a video when we have God's word to guide us.

IMO....

The Dogma of the Assumption of Mary is an ancient and widely held view, embraced by most Christians for most of our history. And I know of nothing in Scripture that clearly denies it.

On the other hand, this dogma is nowhere confirmed by Scripture (or even the Creeds or Seven Ecumenical Councils). And frankly, I don't accept that this as dogma - a matter of highest importance and certainty possible.

So, like most Lutherans, I accept this as a "pious opinion" (a view widely held since very early times) but not as doctrine or dogma. If someone wants to hold to this, I won't loose any sleep over it. However, I do not accept that if one rejects it, they are therefore wrong (and certainly not heretical). As Lutherans would say, "It's a PERMITTED belief but not a REQUIRED belief; nether doctrine or heresy." A "pious opinion."

It's not a topic I get too worked up about. I can't see that it makes much difference, one way or the other. IMO, there are MUCH more important issues at hand.

Particular He asked do you believe this? Its the truest test of Faith.

Why do you believe in God if he is powerless to stop you from dying?

Believe what? What is the "this" you are referring to?

Like the Infallibility of the Pope and no salvation apart from the One True Catholic Church.
There are many false beliefs that have been widely held by most Christians for a long time. For MOST of Church History, Christians believed that the world was flat (and there is nothing in scripture that says the world is not flat), so should we all accept a flat earth?
Worldwide, most people are atheist, Hindu or Buddhist ... so Christianity must be wrong.

Your argument is an appeal to authority fallacy.

There has never been a dogma that the world is flat. But if there had been, I would not call that heresy - a view that would damn and prevent one from heaven, I'd simply note it is without Scriptural affirmation. I'd accept it as dogma if Scripture stated that (especially if the whole church has acknowledged that), I'd accept it as heresy if Scripture clearly denounced that (especially if the whole church has acknowledged that) but it seems to me, the Assumption of Mary is neither. I reject it as dogma and as heresy. By the way, there's never been a dogma that the Earth is sorta round, either. And nowhere does the Bible so state.

I reject the anti-Catholic rubric that if the Catholic Church teaches something, it's therefore heresy and if Catholics do something, it's therefore disgusting, pagan and condemnable. I reject the premise that Catholic = wrong/evil/heresy. I reject the opposite equally.

As I indicated, the authority is Scripture, which you say is "authority fallacy."

Did you see the Shroud of Turin it shows Mary's Immaculate Heart on it.

That means she is on his Shroud! This is a huge problem for Protestantism. Look at those candles?

All whom God has given Jesus will be kept forever. Yet, all humans die, physically. Death is undefeated. As Paul says: "To live is Christ and to die is gain."

Brian, you really don't know what you are talking about.

The shroud of Turin is not an image of Jesus. It is a fabric some Roman Catholic claimed as the fabric that wrapped around Jesus and gullible followers bought the ruse.
Brian, place your faith in Jesus, not a piece of fabric that never was in Palestine.

LOL, tell that to my father who loved God with all his heart and had full belief in the Redeemer, Jesus Christ. He died 7 years ago from pancreatic cancer, but I shall one day see him again when we meet before our King.

Physical life ends, but God keeps our Spirit until the resurrection when we will receive our new bodies.
Mary is no different. She died and one day she will be given her new body.

If you believe you will die then you will see yourself die. Jesus takes my place in death. I won't see myself die. You weren't there to see Mary go to heaven ,either.

Her being next to Jesus on the Shroud says she is Queen of Heaven too. Put some glasses on and look.

You're moving the goalposts, Brian. You're also making unsubstantiated claims.
Mary isn't on the shroud and neither is Jesus. It's a fabric that was never in Palestine. You are clinging to mysticism preached by a church, not truth taught by God.
