Mailbox?

What kind of mailbox do you have? Do you have a community mail center you have to go to for retrieval? Do you have something out by the street or at your door? Or in your door?

I'm on the hunt for a new mailbox. Ours is down by the street and the snowplow banged into it in January so it's a mess and needs replacing.

Oh just a thing in the apartment with a NO NO sticker on it, so I don't get nonsense advertisements. I check it once a week for the Donald Duck.

Mine is metal on a metal pole painted green, we don't have snow so no snow plows run it down

our apt has a mailbox room. its made out of steel and one key opens the whole compartment. there are 60 slots for each compartment. we have cams placed in room due to people pilfering packages

That's great that you have it inside and with cameras. When I lived in an apartment before we bought this house I had to walk outside to the mailbox area and boxes couldn't fit inside so they left things outside the apartment door.

cams caught theif trying to steal large unclaimed packages! he took over 5 small boxes away. thats a federal offence ..dont know the maximum jail time...maybe 10 years?

I didn't know that the jail time could be that long for stealing packages.

Yep. Also in the US we aren't supposed to put things in anyone's mailboxes! You can put things between the doors or on the railings but not in the mailbox.
