I have relatives who use AirBnB and really love it. I feel so uncomfortable staying at someone's house though. How do people get past that?

So this is offered to "confessional" Lutherans only? Not liberal Lutherans or Anglicans attending Lutheran churches? It must be of the devil

I think since they're opening their homes to others that they state they want "confessional" Lutherans because they don't want to have to worry about having conversations at the dinner table that would be awkward...like liberal topics?

Some of the most educational conversations that I listened into as a kid were when people with divergent (and even heretical) ideas visited. They helped me to think and develop a strong, fundamentalist world view ... until I smartened up and became a raging liberal. (And no, they weren't liberals; they were even crazier fundamentalists than I ever was.)

I think they're just looking forward to talking with like-minded people and not have to deal with any confrontations. It's probably less stressful.
