The Christian should love his neighbor as his self according to Matthew 22:39, so that implies that loving our neighbor is more important than being loved. Unless we talk about being loved by God, then THAT is more important because For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son that whosever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life John 3:16.
