I think the Lotus flower is pretty and had one on my Facebook page cover. But then I started thinking about how the Lotus is associated with Easten religions. Is it wrong to display the Lotus on fb, or on a permanent tattoo or other ways?

Are you using their designs or just a picture of a flower? If it's just a basic image or pic then no problem. If it's a well known logo type design that the other religions use then I'd think twice about it.

It’s a picture of what my daughter called a water-lily she took at a park.
I don’t know if a water-lily or Lotus are the same thing or something different.
