I was reading in Jeremiah this morning and read this passage in Jeremiah 9:23-23

3 This is what the Lord says:

“Let not the wise boast of their wisdom
or the strong boast of their strength
or the rich boast of their riches,
24 but let the one who boasts boast about this:
that they have the understanding to know me,
that I am the Lord, who exercises kindness,
justice and righteousness on earth,
for in these I delight,”
declares the Lord.

It seems that there is a lot of boasting in our society today, but the Lord says if you are going to boast then boast that you know Me. Then I got to thinking about do my actions and words truly reflect that I know Him? Because the truth is that since God is infinite that we cannot truly know God entirely. There will always be a part of God even when we stand before Him that is beyond our minds to comprehend. I am also glad that God is one who exercises kindness and justice and righteousness on earth. I am also glad that He is righteous and merciful. Please share your thoughts on these two verses
