this concerns "rent review committee" i may be in the works of submitting a request for rent review before the board due to new rent increase at our apt. what kind of setting is the review committee look like? is it one on one interview? or does it involve more than a dozen other participants? i want to be in the know before i proceed.

I have never heard of a rent review committee. You must be a part of a big complex to have a need for that?

yes. our complex comprises of over 800 units. even though we decided we would be able to pay the new rent, it wouldnt hurt to try this out and see where it would lead to.

What is the percentage that the rent will be raised? Some states have specific laws that protect renters.
