Today we had our annual church picnic at the local state park. After the service we got to play on the beach with one of our granddaughters - our daughter brought the youngest with her. The next youngest wanted to stay home, and as her oldest was visiting that was an option.

Then I took a walk, but really didn't want to because I ate too much fried chicken at the picnic. But I got the distance in, which is what matters.

Sounds like a wonderful day!!

I got up early to do loops around my block because I don't know which day this week the contractor is coming out and I wanted to get some walking in.

I need to wake up a bit more. Now that we have windows opened again, my allergies are hitting me hard and I don't want to move because my nose is so stuffed up.
